1. Welcome back, Kyle

Was that the same Kyle Orton who had the Bears offense clicking or a cardboard cutout? I know his ankle's injured, but wow.

2. Lesser of two evils

In any case, it seems the Bears prefer a cardboard cutout over Rex Grossman.

3. Leader of the pack

Even with the loss to division rival Green Bay, at 5-5 the Bears still are tied for first in the NFC North.

4. Back to the future

Like so many times before, it seems the Bears are setting themselves up for a quarterback controversy. They are such drama kings.

5. Clowning around

The Bulls also are 5-5, but they don't have the stink of death to them yet. No matter how this road trip pans out, there'll be a stink to the United Center after the circus leaves.

6. Air forced?

Derrick Rose has scored in double figures in his first 10 games, the first Bulls rookie since Michael Jordan to do it. He's good, but let's slow down on the Jordan comparisons.

7. Kobe beef

I know it's unlikely, but nothing would be sweeter than to see the Bulls begin their trip with a win at the L.A. Lakers. Kobe Bryant deserves nothing less.

8. Lanced

Cyclist Lance Armstrong plans to meet with Tour de France officials soon. Lance is quickly turning into Brett Favre with all this will-he-won't-he stuff. Just do it!

9. Good times, JJ

Jimmie Johnson won his third straight NACAR title going away. How can he be so much better at turning left than everyone else?
